Take a guided trip to the traditional village of San Javier, located right
in the middle of Sierra de La Giganta where one of our very experienced
nauralistic guides will show you natural history, dessert plants and
animals along the way.
San Javier Mission was founded in 1699 by the jesuit missionaries and it was the
second mission of all the Californias ( Loreto´s mission was the first), and its
has been preserved in its natural shape, along time locals have kept up some of
the customs left by the missionaries, nowadays the mission is visited by many
faithfuls from all baja who come to pay tribute to the Saint San Francisco
Javier.

Itinerary:
Departure time is 8:00am from your hotel, it takes us about two hours and
a half to get to San Javier making several stops in the way to see desert
plants, cave paintings and a visit to a local Ranch where will give
a little explanation on the rancheros customs and lifestyle. Once we get
to San Javier your guide will show you the mission and will explain you
its history
